Harrington stays afloat

Congratulations to Joey Harrington on his new job as the third-string QB in New Orleans. Some how, some way, this guy manages to land on a team and hold a job through the season. However, this year he has no chance of starting like in Atlanta because there’s a guy named Brees as the starter.

And like I said, Joey is thrid-string. Behind MARK BRUNELL! Are you kidding me? Joey’s stats on paper from 2007 don’t look that bad, but they are obviously misleading. If you can’t beat out a guy that played with cavemen as a rookie for the backup role to Drew Brees, you’re certainly no good at all. No disrespect to ol’ Brunell, but he’s done. He’s been done for the last 50 years…but he gets paid to keep Joey at that third spot. I guess you have to give both of them credit. Joey keeps a job eventhough he can’t get the ball to his own team and Mark Brunell backs up a Pro-Bowler without even having knees. My hat goes off to both you guys.
