Paterno coaching into his mid-80’s!

Penn State head coach Joe Paterno received a three-year extension today, taking him through the 2011 season. Paterno is the most winningest coach in NCAA-D1 history and he lead the Nittany Lions to the Rose Bowl this year, where they will take on USC. Paterno is about to turn 82 years-old, meaning that he will be coaching at the age of 85 – pretty incredible. Penn State spokesmen did state that the length of the deal could be altered to a shorter length…or LONGER! Ya, they really said that they would extend or shorten the contract as they see fit…

JOE-PA STILL HAS IT!!
