Suns Could Part With Head Coach Terry Porter By Monday

Rumors, rumors, and more rumors…but somewhat believable.

The most recent talk flooding the NBA, besides a possible new home for Amare, is the fact that the Suns may show head coach Terry Porter the door as soon as Monday. The Suns are not nearly as good as they were under Mike D’Antoni and new GM Steve Kerr continues to look like a lost cause in Phoenix.

There is a guy in the Suns’ coaching staff named Alvin Gentry. He has been an NBA coach before (3 times to be exact) and he worked under D’Antoni when he was there. Not to mention that a majority of the Suns’ players like Gentry a lot. So if Gentry can take over as head coach with a D’Antoni-like offense and incorporate a little bit of defense…you got one hell of a team.

See ya Terry. Hello Alvin.
