There’s always an article that you read or a story that you hear that just makes you scratch your head and say, “Really?”
Those precise moments in one’s life are what I like to call, “WTF Moments”. You may be unfamiliar with the label but I promise you you’ve had one. Take this story reported by FoxNews.com for example:
Police have arrested two fifth-graders on charges that they were selling marijuana at their eastside Indianapolis elementary school.
Warren Township school spokesman Dennis Jarrett says a student told school officials he saw a classmate at Brookview Elementary sell a “marijuana-like substance” to another student Tuesday morning.
Police confirmed that the substance was a small amount of marijuana and arrested the two boys, ages 10 and 11.
The boys were arrested on juvenile charges of dealing and possessing marijuana and taken to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center. Both were suspended from school, pending an investigation.

UNIONTOWN, Pa. — Police say a western Pennsylvania mother drugged her 13-year-old daughter so her boyfriend could get the girl pregnant.
Uniontown police say 32-year-old Shana Brown is no longer able to have children, but wanted a baby with her boyfriend.
Det. Donald Gmitter says Brown and her boyfriend, 40-year-old Duane Calloway, attempted to impregnate the girl on three occasions. Gmitter says the girl prevented the rapes. The girl’s paternal grandmother reported the incidents to police.
Brown is facing several charges, including endangering the welfare of children. Brown’s attorney Patrick McDaniel did not immediately return a call for comment.
Calloway faces charges of attempted rape. It was not immediately clear if he has an attorney.
Can’t blame this on the recession.
The video that is taking over the media as of late is here! Anna Nicole is in clown makeup and filmed by her “assistant” Howard K. Stern. Stern asks her if it is a “mushroom trip” and listen to Anna’s response. The problem with the video is that Anna is pregnant and it seems that she is on some kind of drugs. Was Stern feeding her drugs?
Sport Illustrated has reported that Alex Rodriguez (yes, that A-Rod guy) tested positive for testosterone and Primobolan, an anabolic steroid, in 2003.
It comes as a shock to me, I’m not sure about others, because I simply viewed Rodriguez as the best player in the game due to his abilities…not because of his drug taking. Not to mention that he has stated himself in a “60 Minutes” interview that he didn’t need steroids.
Coincidentally, Alex Rodriguez won the AL MVP award in 2003. In that year, Rodriguez batted .298 with 47 homers and 118 RBIs.
The current times in baseball are difficult to understand and questionable to watch. The ENTIRE era has been plagued with the “sport cancer” that is anabolic steroids. When watching a game, one has to wonder who is cheating and who is honest. For me, I visually judge each and every player that steps to the plate. Is is head like a Macy’s float? Are his arms like the Hulk? Are his quads ripping through his uniform?
It’s not fair to the fans and it’s not fair to the game. An entire era of America’s Greatest Pastime will go down in history with a giant *asterisk* nex to it. And now, whether you agree or not, the greatest player in the game today is a tested-and-proven cheater.
2008 Olympic hero Michael Phelps has recently been partying a little too hard, or so the pictures imply. Pictures have surfaced that include Phelps taking bong hits (thats marijuana!) with a group of friends while he was visiting them in South Carolina. The partygoers also mentioned that Phelps was pounding beers and throwing back shots before he hit the bong.
“He looked just as natural with a bong in his hands as he does swimming in the pool. He was the gold medal winner of bong hits,” said one witness.
Michael Phelps is set to make about $100 million in endorsements with companies like Visa, Powerbar, and A T & T. However, Phelps agent Peter Carlisle has said that the surfacing pictures could cause fatal for the endorsements and the cash.
Michael Phelps has been in trouble before, therefore this doesn’t really surprise me. He is a young guy with a lot of money but not enough self-control. The real question in this whole story is: where did the pictures come from? The New York Post is reporting that the incident happened in Columbia, South Carolina on November 6th. Why did someone wait three months to turn the pictures in? And, if he was hanging out with friends, why would they try to take him down?
I’m not saying that I don’t think Michael Phelps smokes pot, but I am a little skeptical about the recent photos.
Now that your stomach is in your throat, let me inform you that it’s not President Obama that’s being held on drug charges. Rather it is George Obama, Barack Obama’s half-brother who resides in Kenya.
Kenyan officials reported finding one joint (that’s marijuana!) on George Obama when he was picked up Saturday. George Obama denied the allegations and said, “I don’t know why they are charging me,”.
Is this a huge deal? I guess not. Barack and George do in fact have the same father but their relationship is strained at best, according to reports.
Two men were found guilty yesterday in a Dutch court after they injected 14 people with the HIV virus. Dating back to 2006, these guys would go to parties and inject HIV-infected blood into semiconcious men.
One guy was sentenced to 9 years prison (also convicted of rape) and the other guy was sentenced to 5. Why the hell are the sentences so weak? Well, while all 14 victims in fact had the HIV virus, it could not be proven whether they were infected due to the injections or if they were infected prior to the injections. Along with the Dutch courts’ ridiculous opinion that HIV is actually a chronic illness and not a fatal one. Sorry, could have fooled me…
The two men went to these gay orgy parties and drugged random guys. While the victims couldn’t find out whether they were in a house or a cloud, the two weirdos would go around injecting them with the infected blood. The moral of the story? Don’t go to orgies…or is it orgys?
